Where do we begin, writing this review with my wife, we look back at our magical day that we had, it was, for lack of better words, amazing!!! We began by giving Luisa a call, and setting up a meeting. We gave her the style of how we wanted the venue to look, and the accommodations that we needed. Luisa then recommended us to go with the venue at "Hotel Colonnade" in Coral Gables. She set up a meeting with the events manager at the hotel. When we arrived for the meeting, Luisa greeted us, ready to go and walked us into the meeting. Luisa was very professional with our meeting, guided us throughout the stressful process of finding a wedding venue, and sealing the deal on this perfect venue! Luisa also creates beautiful flower arrangements and isn't only a wedding planner! Luisa made the arrangements for our wedding day with the exact flowers we wanted that were in season! She was very meticulous and thorough and experienced. We loved her attention to detail and how comfortable she made us feel every step of the way. The big day came and she really took care of everything, even when we had slight issues with our table cards, she made sure to take care of everything. We absolutely loved her! Honestly, she feels like family now because she shared one of the most amazing moments of our lives. To summarize it all, Luisa was thorough, meticulous, professional and very creative. We would absolutely, without a doubt recommend her as your next event planner! You won't regret it. Thank you Luisa for all that you did for our amazing day! We love you!

Luisa, on behalf of all of us at FIU, I would like to thank you for the important service you provided for the "Challenges of Poverty, Health and Sustaintability: A Geopolitical Summit", that took place on Monday, October 18 at the FIU Wolfe University Center. The Summit brought more than 1,200 people to participate in a discussion with three leading thinkers from around the world in international relations, economics, politics, health, medicine, and the enviroment to discuss some of the most pressing challenges facing our nation and the world today. The Summit also celebrated the establishments of the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (HWCOM), and the School of Environment, Arts and Society (SEAS). In presenting the 2010 Geopolitical Summit, HWCOM and SEAS join the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) that includes FIU's signature international departments and programs. Your contribution was an integral part of the success of this timely event.
